I showed them some of the beaded stings I had made for the bead curtain:

I have a friend who is the descendant of a Maori chief and has offered t bless my piece which will be amazing. We were discussing the ethics around this and have decided that a video or voice recording wouldn't do it justice so will document it in the research and have a written piece explaining what happened in the space.

We also discussed how a curtain for people to walk through isn't the greatest idea because of what the curtain/each bead represents so it would be better to have the piece in the center of the space. It was also agreed that the it should be in 3 pieces so each person's life gets represented and it is easy to diferenciate between them.
